CPES Meeting: RFPs for Clean Energy Goals Nov 4 2015

image001Please join us: The Connecticut Power and Energy Society (CPES) invite you to join us Wednesday evening, November 4, in Cromwell for a networking event and a panel discussion about the New England states’ Clean Energy RFP.

About the topic: The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is coordinating with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources and utilities from Massachusetts and Rhode Island on a mult-state RFP to identify projects that will help advance the clean energy goals of the three states. The RFP is intended to obtain grid-scale Class I and large-scale hydropower resources and associated transmission. DEEP is operating under authority granted to the agency by the legislature in 2013 and 2015 (i.e., Public Act 13-303, An Act Concerning Connecticut’s Clean Energy Goals and Public Act 15-107, An Act Concerning Affordable and Reliable Energy).

Registration: $60 for CPES  members, $70 for non-members

Great opportunity for young professionals: To our regular members: Please don’t come alone! Consider inviting a young professional to join you at this event. It’s a great opportunity to welcome new faces to the energy industry and help them build relationships with professionals from CPES.
