REGIONAL AND INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENTS

MASSACHUSETTS SELECTS NORTHERN PASS IN RESPONSE TO CLEAN  ENERGY RFP
Massachusetts has given preliminary approval to Eversource’s Northern Pass proposal to deliver hydropower to the state from Quebec. The bid was submitted in response to the Section 83D Clean Energy request for proposals. Eversource plans to build a 192-mile transmission line from hydroelectric plants in Canada that will carry power through New Hampshire.  Read the press release from Mass.
